Tucked away in a beautiful building in Truro is Colours Cafe and Wellbeing - a foodie haven with yoga classes, therapies and wellbeing events all under one roof. I visited on a quiet Sunday and it was the perfect place to stop and take a break, with an amazing sandwich, comfortable seats and all-importantly, it's dog friendly too.
There is a small area of outdoor seating, but personally for me this would be a choice for a day when the weather isn't so nice outside. The downstairs cafe is so calming, beautiful decorated with books to read and chilled yoga music playing. I could have stayed for hours and felt totally comfortable being there on my own (with Ted dog of course).
There are posters advertising the busy schedule of classes and events that happens upstairs in both the Wellbeing Studio and Therapy Room. Some of these are free of charge, like the Community Connect and Your Voice support groups, and some are paid workshops or individual sessions focused around health and wellbeing.
Local practitioners can also hire the space by getting in touch via their website.
When my Tumeric Latte and food came, I fell in love with this place a little bit more! So tasty, and the falafel, hummus and chilli jame sandwich was huge - totally enough for a good lunch and at £6 is more reasonable than some cafe's where it's hard to find a savoury lunch for under £10. A Tumeric Latte is also £2.60 which made me happy - I have paid up to £4 before!!
If you did want more of a full meal, there is a gorgeous menu of buddha bowls, burgers, flatbreads, salads and soups which I've put a picture of below. I'll definitely be back to try these! (And the cakes on the counter, which looked amazing.)
